This Slow Cooker Slow Cooker Honey Parmesan Pork Loin Roast is one of those must-have recipes for the cold seasons. It is truly incredible and will quickly become a family favorite! Cooking takes a little more time, but preparing the roast is super quick to put together. All you have to do is prepare the delicious marinade, place the pork loin roast in the slow cooker, and voila!
Ingredients
- 1 boneless pork loin roast
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of sugar (optional)
Instructions

Place the roast in a slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine the cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, oregano, garlic, oil and salt.

Pour the mixture over the top of the roast.

Cover and cook over low heat for 5-6 hours or until thermometer reaches 71°C (160°F).

Remove the meat and place it on a platter.

Strain the juices from the slow cooker and pour into a small saucepan.

Mix cornstarch and chicken broth.

Add this mixture to the filtered juices and stir until thickened over medium heat.

Add a teaspoon of sugar if the sauce needs to be a little sweeter (optional).

Shred the roast and serve with the glaze.
