Large Lac St-Jean pie (to cook) (3.4kg - 8 to 10 people)


Product: Large pie from Lac-St-Jean (the REAL one!)

Weight: 3.4 kg (serves 8 to 10 people)

Beef, pork and veal.

Cooking: (6h30)

1. Do not thaw the meat pie
2. Bake for 2 hours at 350°F
3. Cover the tourtière with aluminum foil.
4. Continue cooking for 3½ hours at 275°F
5. Remove from the oven, dig a small hole in the center of the tourtière, pour a small glass of water into it.
6. Continue cooking (with aluminum foil) for 1 hour, still at 275°F
