Our delicious Christmas recipe for pork stuffed with bacon, brie, pecans and basil proves that indulgence is not reserved for big spending. Pork tenderloin proves to be a tasty and economical alternative for the holidays.



  1. Make an incision along the entire length of the fillet, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Open the fillet like a book, cover it with a sheet of plastic wrap, and pound it with the flat side of a meat mallet until it is 1/2 inch thick without tearing the meat.
  3. Salt and pepper the pork tenderloin
  4. Spread the bacon slices on the pork tenderloin
  5. Cut the brie into slices and spread it over the pork tenderloin
  6. Garnish the pork tenderloin with crushed pecans and basil
  7. Roll up the pork tenderloin and tie with string or toothpicks
  8. Oil, salt and pepper
  9. Place the stuffed pork tenderloin on the hot barbecue for 15-20 minutes
  10. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest.
  11. Slice into rounds and enjoy!
